Promnice Hunting Manor is the only place in that district of Silesia where one can spend some great time away from the city noise.The Hunting Manor in Promnice, near Tychy, is one of the most precious masterpieces of the Silesian artistic culture of the 19th century. Situated in the most beautiful place, in the old quiet Pszczyna forest on the bank of the Paprocanskie Lake. Its location and charming architecture make the Manor a rare example of a forest residence in Europe.The history of this residence is long and extremely fascinating. Many historical events and numerous legends connected with the history of Princess of Pszczyna create an exceptional ambience of this manor. The roots of this place date back to the 16th century. At that time Pszczyna County, together with all its rights was bought by Wroclaw Bishop Baltazar Promnic, and later on bequeathed to his nephew Stanislaw. During those times Silesia was ruled by Habsburgs...It was built in neogothic style with visible German influence.

There are 24 places in elegant rooms and prince suites. All of them have been decorated in a hunting style. They were once the rooms for prince's family and guests who had been invited to great hunts. Although the rooms are adjusted to the contemporary requirements (telephone, TV, SAT, radio) they still preserve their exceptional beauty and artistic value. Artists are constantly supervising their character, style and decoration.
